Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] how to make a real time weather file in EPW formate

The process of changing to csv, editing some values, and changing back should
work fine. The problem may be with the editing and saving of the csv file.
Save a copy of the original csv file converted directly from a working epw.
Then edit just one temperature and save the csv. Now compare the two files in
a text editor. Is everything identical except the changed value? If not, you
may need to change some system settings or Excel settings.

I see signficant problems with using a typical year weater file and changing
only the outdoory dry bulb temperatures. Depending on the type of climate this
may result in strange solar radiation patterns relative to the temperatures.
And you should at least make sure that the dew point and relative humidity
values entered are reasonable for the outdoor dry bulb temperature. In
general, you need at least dry bulb, humidity, wind speed, and solar data to
form a good basis for simulation.
