As I sent to you yesterday -- isn't there a Virtual PC or something 
like that which will allow you to run Windows apps on Macs?  As I 
remember, the last version did not significantly slow things down.

I understood that ESP-r also needed OSX 10 or newer.  (I know next to 
nothing about Mac and os so I don't know if this runs on Power PC or not...)

We also have the Linux version of EnergyPlus.

And, it (EnergyPlus) has been successfully compiled and run with g95 
compiler (free Fortran compiler) but you would need to buy the 
collaborative developer's license in order to obtain the source.
