[EnergyPlus_Support] E+ Technique for LEED / ASHRAE 90.1 compliance

Dear E+ Forum,

I'm honing my procedures for using E+ to determine whether a building
meets the LEED certification energy minimum requirements. Since E+
does not allow separate automatic sizing criteria for heating and
cooling systems, it seems that this must be a manual procedure. I
know that many of you have already adopted a procedure and I'm hoping
for some feedback. Here's what I am doing for the Baseline HVAC systems:

1) If the HVAC system is clearly cooling-dominated, I just set the
Sizing Parameters object to 1.15 and nothing else. (similar for
heating-dominated, except using 1.25)
2) If there is a mix of cooling-dominated and heating-dominated zones,
or energy compliance is marginal:

Let E+ autosize all components at 1.0 sizing factor
Once the model is running properly, manually increase sizes as follows:
   - Set Zone airflow in Zone Sizing object at max(Clg Airfow * 1.15,
Htg airflow * 1.25)
   - Set Baseboard water flow at (autosize * 1.25)
   - Set heating pump flows at (autosize * 1.25) with Delta P as
needed for 19W/gpm
   - Set cooling pump flows at (autosize * 1.15) with Delta P as
needed for 22W/gpm
   - Set Boiler / Heating source capacity at (autosize * 1.25)
   - Set Chiller / Cooling source capacity and Heat Rejection
components at (autosize * 1.15)
The above procedure must be repeated for each new building
orientation, which makes it pretty cumbersome....

Does that account for everything?
