Susan,

 

I believe that only the "Powered Induction Unit" system type in eQuest allows
you to model a VAV system with fan powered boxes (series or parallel).  With
the PIU system type, you can model all FPT boxes, or a combination of FPT
boxes and standard boxes.   Select the specific box type in the zone airflow
tab à "Zone Terminal and Fans" à "Terminal Type" à Standard VAV, Series PIU,
Parallel PIU ...

Hi,

 

I am trying to model a packaged rooftop VAV unit.  I have selected the type
PVAV but this does not allow me to add terminal units.  I want my perimeter
zones to have fan powered VAV boxes while my interior zones will have
standard VAV boxes.  Any idea how to add the VAV boxes?
