Anna:

If it what I believe you mean, the "codes" are BDL instructions that can
be inserted in the .INP file of the Project file that you have created.
The .INP file is the actual input file to the program, and is a text type
file.

You generate "codes" by following the general instructions in the
DOE-2.2 Manuals (depends what your subject matter is) and doing the
input directly into the .INP file.

I am uncertain what you mean by "Thermal Load Profiles". Do you mean an
actual Process Load to force eQuest to serve?

Subject: [Equest-users] thermal load profiles and code input

Hello Everyone,

I have been using e-Quest to analyze building energy performance for
less than a year. I found detailed instructions in DOE-2 Help that
explaines writing codes for generating daily thermal load profiles. The
code does not seem complicated but I do not know how to generate codes ,
and how to import these in e-Quest. I would greatly appreciate any help
and suggestion.

Regards,

Anna D.
