Actually, the elevator equipment should be entered in the appropriate
space(s) similar to the kitchen equipment load since it contributes to the
cooling load for the building.

Elevator and exterior lighting loads should be attached directly to the
electric meter. In the detailed interface it's Utility & Economics
tab>Electric Meter>Direct Loads. You'll need to create an elevator schedule
and an exterior lighting schedule. The newest version of eQuest (3.63) has
photocell control for exterior lighting to simply your ext lighting
schedule. I believe the photocell control setup is spelled out in the help
files.

The kitchen equipment load(s) should be entered in the appropriate spaces.
Make sure that you specify the sensible/latent ratio, otherwise it defaults
to 100% sensible.

Hi All,

Can you please share where do we get information of cooking and
Elevators/Escalators in Equest.

We have following information

1. Total Connected Load for kitchen/cooking equipment. - plug load.
321.7Kw

2. Total Connected Load for exterior lighting. - plug load. 8.5Kw

3. Elevator horsepower. 25 HP for design.

Let me know where do we have to input these numbers in the detailed mode of
Equest file.

Will appreciate your help

Soham
