[Equest-users] Equest help

One thing you need to watch out for is the roofs. Typically if you have
built two shells in the wizard, they will both have roof surfaces and
will be calculating heat transfer through them. When you do move the
shells to be vertically aligned, make sure you:

1. Remove roof surfaces from the lower shell, except where there
is actually exposed roof surface

2. Remove exterior floor surfaces (earth contact or otherwise)
from the upper shell - except where there is exposed floor.

3. Create an internal surface between the spaces - can be defined
on either one of the floors with the other floor defined as the adjacent
zone.

Hope this helps

It's in your basic building shell geometry specifications popup. You can
easily change the 'Z' coordinate position of the floor up on the top of
others and vice visa. Hope it will help.

Hi all,

I'd like to know if there's a way to move 2 building shells on top of
each other without having to do it in wizard. Is there a command such
as 'move' to place one building shell on top of another? Thanks in
advance.
