[Equest-users] eQuest -Warning :SPACE EL1 Core Spc (G.C39) has 0 delayed walls, 1 delayed floors

Kathiresan,

Ashu's approach eliminates the warning.

But, the reason the warning occurs is overriding the layers input for walls, roof, floor to be a U-value override (user input). The layers input accounts for the time delay properties of the wall (think of it like a capacitor) while the U-value override only looks at the steady state heat transfer.

Thanks.

Hi Kathiresan,

To eliminate this warning you have to double click on this space and go to the content option then fill the minimum floor weight =70lb/ft².

Window for your reference

Dear All.

I am getting the following warning while running equest, What needs to be done to eliminate this error in the model?.

SPACE EL1 Core Spc (G.C39) has 0 delayed walls, 1 delayed floors and 0 delayed ceilings. There should be at least a delayed wall and floor, a delayed wall and ceiling, or a delayed ceiling and floor for custom weighting factors to be calculated. ASHRAE weighting factors with floor weight of 70 lb/ft2 (342 kg/m2) will be used for this space. (lLineNum = 1000000)

Advance thanks for the help.

Kathiresan
