[Equest-users] Modeling Exfiltration in Commercial Buildings

Does anyone have a good method for accounting for "exfiltration" in
commercial buildings in eQUEST? Basically, since the building is
pressurized, its experiencing ex filtration rather than infiltration. It
doesn't seem accurate to model this as infilatration, as that adds a direct
outside air load into the space. In reality, you're losing a portion of your
mixed supply air from the zones, so its not a direct outside air load - you
just need to condition and supply more mixed air to make up what was lost.

Would it be more accurate to model this as duct leakage and have that air
lost to a condioned zone?

Thanks!

Kendra
