[Equest-users] Control heat Source

This can be done under the "Equipment Controls" folder in the Water-Side Component Tree. The Sequence number determines how they are staged. i.e. If 2 boilers have the same Seq Number then they equally share the load. If they have sequential numbers than they stage accordingly.

Hope this helps. - Tim

Subject: [Equest-users] Control heat Source

Hello Energy Modelers,
In eQuest I am modeling loop to loop heat pumps. The heat pumps have enough capacity to meet the maximum design load, however the design also has boilers for back up and in extreme conditions. When I run the simulation, the boilers are meeting quite a bit of the load...which I want the heat pumps to take care of because they are more efficient. Is there a way in eQuest to specify how the devices are staged such that I can reduce the hours on the boiler and increase the hours on the heat pumps? Thank you for your help!
