I am starting a model right now for a 200k sf university building with active chilled beams serving the perimeter and lab spaces. I will keep you posted on results. It is a LEED v3 project, so I will be modeling against 90.1 2007 AppG.

Thanks,

Subject: [Equest-users] Active Chilled Beam savings?

Has anyone successfully shown energy savings due to an Active Chilled Beam airside system, as compared to a series VAV or other baseline? I haven't been able to model the fan (or any system) energy savings that several white papers claim. The last sim list discussion of this was in 2006 anything new?
