No,

Your proposed model must be identical to what you are designing/already
there. The only exception to my knowledge is if there is no cooling or
heating in your proposed building, you must use the same cooling/heating
system as the baseline.

I would finish your proposed model and then perform a "save as" and
create your baseline model. You can then change the model to match the
baseline requirements. Remember that you cannot fully comply with the
LEED requirements for EA Credit 1 if you only use the wizards.

Make sure that you completely read ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G and its
references before you create the baseline model.

Subject: [Equest-users] LEED/ ASHRAE baseline

Dear All,

If for my proposed building I have an air-cooled chiller, and for my
baseline building according to ASHREA I have a '2-water-cooled screw
chillers sized equally'. Does that mean I have to change the system type
for my proposed building from air-cooled to water-cooled chiller??

Can someone please clarify and thanks for your help.
