Both Ecotect and GBS allow exporting geometry and constructions to E+
and eQuest compatible formats. So you could go from Revit to either of
those packages.

An example tutorial can be found here.

Kevin,

You need to use Autodesk's Green Building Studio - an online tool that
runs the eQUEST simulation on the web. It allows you to export an inp
file.

Has anyone done any work with a gbXML files? I have read about them and
how the files are compatible with eQuest, but cannot find any place that
eQuest allows you to import these files.

It is my understanding that if you were to export a Revit file to gbXML
and import that to eQuest and that would create your model. Does anyone
know how exactly this works?
