Derek,

I'm having some trouble digesting your description (a picture might really help), but I think you're observing one system being created for each space upon exiting the wizards, where you're expecting to get one system per zone group. If that's the case and you're attempting to use the zone grouping tool to group space/zones for systems in this manner, be sure under your system definitions you have selected "system per site" instead of "system per zone," and create as many systems as you'll need to cover each zone group (10, it sounds like).

Of note, depending on how complex your grouping situation is, wrangling the wizards to get such system/zone-group associations perfect may be more difficult than simply reassigning zones to systems in the detailed mode.

Subject: [Equest-users] Data Center modeling

Hi all,

I'm working on a energy model for a data center in Seattle. The data
center is served by 10 packaged rooftop units. The adjacent Transformer
rooms, UPS room and RO room are conditioned by transfer air from the
data center. I actually divide the data center, the transformer room and
RO room into 10 average pieces so each roof packaged serves (4) areas
and these areas are not connected together. So in DD Wizard mode under
Zone Pattern (page 2 of 25), I outline (4) different spaces (not
connected together) as a group. The program then assigned one system for
each area even though I have assigned one system for each Zone Group in
page 14 of 25. How could that be ?

Thanks,
