[Equest-users] Glazing

This (might) fall into a work-ethic question, which I try to not shy
away from, so I'll address generally...

If the unconditioned space will not affect the conditioned space, don't
worry about it.

If it will, and the glazing will have a significant effect upon the
unconditioned space, model it.

If you're not sure:

Personally, I find time spent worrying about what is worth my time is
generally time wasted. Do what you can in the time you have budgeted to
you. If you do not have time to model the windows, then you don't have
the time and you must either approximate quickly or append any results
with what potentially significant items you didn't model. If you do
have the time, then anything other than modeling them will amount to
making excuses.

That said, the time vs. accuracy crunch is a part of every modeling
experience, great or small, and it's harder on those of us who haven't
been doing this for decades (hats off to that crowd!). For a lot of
projects, there are items you simply won't have the time or information
available to investigate and model accurately. Keep a running list of
such items as you go, and refer back to this list when you're "done" to
investigate/address those items as you have time to. At the end of the
day, you'll have a record of what the model's behavior doesn't account
for when you are tasked with explaining the results to peers or clients,
and as a side-bonus you'll appear to know exactly what you're doing to
boot =).

Take care not to spend all your time discussing what you didn't model
however - that doesn't look good either.

Subject: [Equest-users] Glazing

Hi All,
My project is one factory building where 90% of the area
is unconditioned ,Shall i need to add glass in the entire building or
i can exclude glazing in the 90% of unconditioned area and add only in
my 10% conditioned area.

Please suggest me some answer.

Thanks
Sambhav Tiwari
