[Equest-users] internal/external walls

Two points to be aware of:

- Walls in eQuest cannot figure out on their own whether
they're interior partitions or external walls. The only (limited)
exception is when using the wizards to place shells with overlapping
wall sections.

- You'll notice that between your two spaces, only one has an
internal wall "attached" to it. A property of that wall is which other
space is tied to the first space. Don't delete the undesired
space/internal wall before keeping it as a reference to create the new
external wall, attached to the space you are keeping. You'll want to of
course specify the correct construction and use the same
polygon/coordinates as the interior wall you're ultimately deleting.

Omar,

I was told to delete the wall and build a new one if using detail mode.
Here is the actual quote.

"In the wizard you select the wall and right click to change its type.
In detail mode you must add an exterior

wall and delete the interior wall."

Thanks,

Subject: [Equest-users] internal/external walls

Dear all,

Let's say we have 2 adjacent rooms, and the wall between them is an
internal wall. If I deleted one room, will the internal wall act as an
external one (of course, I will change the composition)?

If not, how can I create an external wall to replace the formerly
internal wall (same coordinates)?

Many thanks,

Omar
