[Equest-users] multiple story building/different geometries.....how to model

thank you.  It took me awhile yesterday to remember that I had to be in DD to do what I wanted to do, but figured it out.  At first i used the immeidtly above/below option, but sense then have used the coordinate system to locate.  So far, I think I have it right.

Paul:

Get to the DD Wizard, which will allow you to draw your individual floors. I would advise using the coordinate system on Page 1 for locating the various floors over each other.

Another trick. Before you set the building in its true compass direction orientation, keep the Building North to the top of the page. The X, Y, and Z coordiantes will locate easier in this frame of reference. THEN rotate the entire structure.

I have a multi story building with different geometries on several floor.  I know there is a way to draw the shells and then stack them, but do not remember how.  Can anyone provide some guideance?
