Forgive the long email but I am new to eQuest wanted to be thorough in my
question.

1. I have a project that is utilizing a chilled water and heating hot
water from another location on site. We are applying for three LEED points
under EAc1 (LEED 2.2) and I am trying to utilize the USGBC published
"Treatment of District or Campus Thermal Energy in LEED" (August 13, 2010
version). Based on the requirements of the document I believe I only have
to use Option 1, and the first problem I am having is determining the Energy
Rates. Since it is a campus situation the project building does not buy the
chilled water or heating hot water it is simply delivered. Does anyone have
an idea about determining the cost for each?

2. In eQuest I do not see a method for adding a Heating Hot Water
Meter. Is a Steam Meter acceptable?

3. The Hot Water Loop is a Primary-Secondary-Tertiary system. I
believe the requirements of the USGBC documents require that the Secondary
and Tertiary pumps be modeled for Option 1. There is one Secondary and two
Tertiary pumps, but so far I have only been able to add one type of pump
(the Secondary pump and Tertiary Pumps have different characteristics) to
the Hot Water Loop. Any suggestion on how to add more?

4. Thanks for your help.

Regards,
