[Equest-users] Baseline Heat Recovery

Omer,

I would set ERV-LATENT-EFF to 0.50.

Additionally, if the baseline system is required to have an economizer
per G3.1.2.6, I would meet the G3.1.2.10 requirement "to bypass or
control the heat-recovery system to permit air economizer operation,
where applicable", by setting ERV-RUN-CTRL to WHEN-MIN-OA.

I guess it is a judgment call how to set all the other ERV variables.
Typically, I set them identical to the proposed ERV if there is one.

Regards,
Bill

Dear All,

How would you recommend modeling in eQuest the G3.1.2.10 requirement
with
its request that "50% energy recovery effectivness shall mean a change
in
the enthalpy of the outdoor air supply equal to 50% of the difference
between the outdoor air and return air at design conditions"?

Thanks,

Omer Moltay
Mimta
