That's probably true. But the client would like to see the building look
as true to actual construction as possible.

Possibly * if you really do want the dome. 
I suspect you won*t see too much of a difference in performance between
the dome and a pyramid of the same volume.

Subject: [Equest-users] dome roof

 

I am creating an eQuest model of the State Capitol building in Helena,
MT. I would like the 3-D model of the building to have a dome-like roof
for the center section of the building to represent the actual building
construction. Is the best way to do this using the polygon command and
figure out a geodesic dome construction??
