[Equest-users] LEED Modeling Question

Ladies & Gentlemen:

I am modeling a government dormitory that has four pipe Vertical Fan Coil units 
with a hot and chilled water coil.

The chilled water coils will not be used for a year or two when it is 
anticipated that the district cooling plant will be operational. 


ASHRAE 90.1 requires that we model cooling even if there is no cooling being 
installed.  I modeled the baseline with DXPTAC units containing a hot water 
coil.

I would like to model the proposed as having chilled water cooling even though 
it has not been installed yet.  I would use the minimum efficiency for the 
chiller as defined by 90.1.

Has anyone tried submitting a similar project to LEED?
