[Equest-users] modifying bdl files

Hello all
anyone here have experience in modifying bdl files for changing the glass
properties?
if i want to use spectral properties of specific glass type not available in
library, is there any other method other than modifying bdl files?
I want to validate the method i use with someone who has some suggestions.
