[Equest-users] Pump Energy Off the Chart

Matt,

I've seen this type of error (i.e. exploding energy, demand, and/or
dollars) when I enter the capacity of a component thinking that "MBtu"
means 1000's of Btus, not millions as is does in eQuest terminology.
Maybe a similar typo in your situation? John A. responded to an email
yesterday on that topic. I vaguely remember a discussion on eQuest
terminology (k = 1000's, M = millions) and that it follows either a
Greek or Roman system, while the typical "MBH" that is on every
mechanical schedule is based on the other system. Good luck,

Subject: [Equest-users] Pump Energy Off the Chart

I am running a chilled water system in the detailed mode and everything
seemed to be going well when I closed up last night. This morning I
come in, make some modifications to a few internal loads, and
re-calculate. Now the pumps/aux is off the chart on the monthly power
consumption (12000000000000000000000 to be exact), and I cant seem to
figure out the issue.

I have tried everything I can think of, setting all the pump setting to
default, etc...but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
