[Equest-users] Transys software?

I use TRNSYS all the time. It is very powerful and flexible, but complicated to use.

I have modeled solar thermal, geoexchange, custom heat recovery, cogen, and other complex plants. It's also great for creating custom control algorithms.

It does have several drawbacks so I would not say it is the best tool for every job.

Modeling buildings in TRNSYS is possible, but it gets very cumbersome after 20 zones or so.

I mostly use it for modeling complex systems in conjunction with eQuest models for whole buildings.

Subject: [Equest-users] Transys software?

Hello All,

Does any one have used Transys software for energy modeling in the past? Please provide your feedback about it.

I am trying to learn this software for my own benefit.

Thanks,
