[Equest-users] Printing to PDF

Adam,

If you have multiple printers try setting the Adobe PDF Printer as your
Default Printer. My older version of Adobe Acrobat requires the PDF Printer
to be the default to print a report.

Adam:

I use a program called Bullzip.pdf which is a pdf printing program.

Its is free and I have no problems printing eQquest files to pdf.

Thanks Jeremy, I appreciate your help! Unfortunately it didn't solve my
problem. I found the Adobe Distiller, but eQuest didn't ask for a file, it
simply said "Could not start print job." We have a copy of PDF Complete
though, and I was able to print to that.

I had that problem on a computer recently - there was a configuration file
missing that was listed in the error message displayed. If you open Adobe
Distiller (it was just under the window menu, programs on my computer, but
you'll have to locate it on yours) you can create the file it is looking
for. Once open, go to the "settings" menu and select "Edit Adobe PDF
Settings". On the box that came up, don't change anything but click "Save
As." at the bottom of the form. Name the file the same as the one eQuest is
looking for when you print and this should solve the problem. I'm not quite
sure why this happened, but the fix I used above worked.

Has anyone run into an error when trying to print the reports to PDF?
Whenever I try I get an error message from eQuest stating that the print job
could not be started. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this.
