[Equest-users] water-econo chiller type

A few folks forwarded the Dictionary text to me as well. Forgot to mention I had reviewed this and it doesn't seem to address the issue either.

The issue is that the free-cool heat exchanger heads / flow rates (in a staged plant with equipment-only pumps) don't seem to make sense - ie unexpectedly high flows with unexpectedly low heads.

I know the water-econo chiller type is relatively new.

Has anyone seen any documentation on its function beyond what's in context help / Topics / New Features manuals?

I'm having a hard time understanding the relationship between what I enter for flows / heads in the input file and what I am seeing in hourly reports.

Specifically the device head does not seem to increment the pump head in a one-to-one fashion, though the pumps are equipment-connected and not loop-connected. Also the chilled water pumps and condenser water pumps are reportedly running at flows higher than the PUMP-FLOW x PUMP-MAX-RATIO.

Any references would be appreciated!
