[Equest-users] Assign more than one HVAC System to one Zone in eQuest

Nimesh,

I do not use the wizard function in this manner so unfortunately I cannot answer this question.

Typically eQUEST users will go into the detailed edit mode and define these parameters at that level. The wizard function is great to get the model started (geometry, architectural, schedules and such) but not as useful to complete an energy model. If you are just doing some preliminary modeling you may be able to just use the wizard mode to get some approximate results but even with that I would hesitate to provide results to a client using this mode.

Tim.

Dear Timothy Howe,

Thank you. . .

You mean modeling exhaust fan at zone specification as per the attached picture and then defining AHUs in HVAC syatems. . . . Right? Please correct me if I am wrong. . .

Thanks,

No you cannot.

But you are not really modeling “two” HVAC systems with what you have stated here unless I misunderstood you. The exhaust fans can be specified at a zone level and the AHUs at a system level.
