Erik,

This is the PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) type. In the "Heating" tab of the System Parameters, you will choose "Hot Water Loop" as the "Heat Source" (see enclosed illustration).

You will have to define a hot water loop in the "Water-Side HVAC" tab.

HTH,

Demba.

Subject: [Equest-users] Modeling incremental HVAC units

I am new to eQuest, and I would like to model a building that primarily uses 'through-the-wall' incremental HVAC units for heating/cooling with DX coils for cooling and hot water coils for heating. I didn't see an explicit option for this configuration in the list of System Types. Any tips for modeling this system? Thanks
