[Equest-users] Is there a way to change infiltration rate when the HCAV is operating or not

Hi Jason,

1. Infiltration rates entered in ACH in wizards are converted to cfm/sf for each space when you finish the wizards (DOE2 quirk - can't say why). In detailed mode you can default-out the cfm/sf entries and re-enter using the ACH inputs if you wish, but if you are able to enter ACH well-enough in wizards you shouldn't need to modify.
2. The wizards also generate infiltration schedules - default behavior I've observed is a separate "core" and "perimeter" schedule for each shell. You can modify or create your own to effect what you're describing. These are "multiplier" schedules so hourly values of 1.0 will not affect the entered rates, and you can enter values above or below 1.0 to reduce or amplify infiltration for that hour. Sounds like you might want to use 1.0's and 0.5's corresponding to the hours the fans are pressurizing the building.
3. Perusing a wizard-generated set of schedules - I think you'll want to first look at what's generated for a "core" infiltration schedule (named something ending with"... C-Inf Sch") - sounds similar to what you're describing with 0.5's set for system setback hours ;).

Subject: [Equest-users] Is there a way to change infiltration rate when the HCAV is operating or not

I'd like to change the infiltration rate from 0.25 ACH to 0.5 ACH when the HVAC is and is not operating. Is there a simple way to do this?
Preferably in the DD Wizard but I expect I'll have to do it in the Detail Design mode
