[Equest-users] Multi-use building LEED Baseline

Sounds like a fun project =)!

I would assign at least two baseline system types, split between residential (types 1,2) and non-residential areas (types 3+)

Each area's respective proposed system determines the heating source.

If all non-residential area proposed systems are 'fossil fuel' heating (depends on that boiler type), they will all use the same baseline system type, determined by their collective non-residential square footage and # of floors.

If that's an 'electric/other' boiler however, a third system type is in play, again selected based on the respective areas & floor quantities.

Subject: [Equest-users] Multi-use building LEED Baseline

We are currently modeling a multi-use building. This includes apartments, resident amenities, a Boys and Girls Club, and retail. Each of these areas have a different HVAC system (e.g. residential are heat pumps, retail/amenities are split-systems plus furnace, and Boys and Girls Club is central boiler system). Each of these four spaces are over 25,000 SF. In this case, how should the systems be layed out for the LEED baseline model?

Thanks,
