[Equest-users] heat exchanger between CHW meter and loop?

Dear All,

For LEED EAp2/c1, I'm modeling a campus classroom building connected to the
central plant for chilled water using the Performance Option 1 (Steramlined
path). The design has a heat exchanger between the central plant chilled
water loop and the building's chilled water loop.

In my case, where there is a chilled water meter, is there a way of
accounting for the heat exchanger? Can it be inserted between the meter and
the loop or any other place? Or is there not a need for it as long as the
entering and leaving water temperatures are properly accounted for? Also,
is there a way of accounting for the design GPM flow accurately?

Thank you,
Ramana.
