[Equest-users] Mechanical Ventilation

Dear All,

How should one proceed to get LEED certification for a building with
Mechanical Ventilation. The issue is:

- Spaces are regulalry occupied
- These spaces employ Mechanical Ventilation for thermal comfort
- They do not require energy consumption of 15 W/m2 to fall into the
category of 'Conditioned" as per ASHRAE 90.1
- Appendix G require for the purpose of modeling to have cooling installed
similar to base case even if spaces are not having a cooling system
- Can the spaces be considered as "unconditioned" in both Base case and
proposed case and modelled alike?

Can someone throw some light on this
