[Equest-users] Ground source heat pump with electric boiler

Hello,

I’m modelling a building with a ground source heat pump with an electric
boiler to supplement the ground loop. I created a Water Loop HP and attached
a Ground Loop Heat Exchanger. As eQuest does not accept that connects the
boiler to the same ground loop, I created a Hot Water Loop (demand
controlled) and selected "Hot Water Loop" as a supplemental heat source in
the Air-side HVAC (PSZ system). The problem is the supplemental heat doesn’t
work and I have the follow error message:

***ERROR********************************************************************
***

Loop: Supp.Heat has zero design flow.

Check input for consistency, or specify design loads.

My workaround is correct? Anyone has experienced a model like that before?

Thanks
