Dante,

I think Joe and White Box Technologies can help you with the weather file
you’re looking for.

Convertion weather from EPW to BIN

What solar parameters are you comparing? EPW contains extraterrestrial
total horizontal, extraterrestrial direct normal, total horizontal, direct
normal, and diffuse horizontal. BIN contains total horizontal, and direct
normal only. The extraterrestrial values are not used in building
simulations, and diffuse horizontal can be calculated as (total horizontal -
direct normal * sin (solar angle) ). Therefore, as far as simulation
programs go, all use the same basic data. There should be no difference
except for round-off errors between the total global horizontal and direct
normal between EPW and BINM.

Good morning,

I have tried to find some differences that I have when I converted from .EPW
to .BIN using eQ-WFC (Weather File Conversion). And I found a difference in
the Solar Radiation.

I don’t know why this software create Normal and Horizontal Solar Radiation
Data?, and How it influence in results?

Also, is there any other way to have Lima Weather file?

Thanks you,

P.S.: Temperature and Wind are equal in both, converted data and original
data.
