[Equest-users] A question about modeling Powered Induction Units in eQUEST

Dear eQUEST users,

I changed the system type of the building I modeled in eQUEST from Variable
Air Volume (VAV) system to Powered Induction unit (PIU). This building does
not have a plenum and has its zone terminal units still set to Std VAV
Terminal. But, I ended up getting lower energy consumption with the PIU
systems than with the VAV system. Do you have any idea why this might be
happening?

I'd appreciate it very much if you could share your thoughts,
