[Equest-users] Reheat energy in summer

What kind of building, and what is your expectation?

The zone minimum airflow may be higher than the actual (or design?) minimums, resulting in excess reheat. This is probably the most common explanation.

If the building has higher minimum airflows by design (such as healthcare or laboratory spaces) then the reheat energy calculated by the program may be accurate.

Subject: [Equest-users] Reheat energy in summer

Hello,

I’m modeling a VAV system and the building is using more energy for zone-level reheat in the summer months than I would expect. Any thoughts on what this could be from?
