[Equest-users] Reheat energy in summer

Okay, that is probably the issue. I am modeling a lab with 100% outside
air. The zones appear to be supplying the minimum supply air nearly all
the time, which I assume would result in over-cooling without the reheat.

Thank you

What kind of building, and what is your expectation?

The zone minimum airflow may be higher than the actual (or design?)
minimums, resulting in excess reheat. This is probably the most common
explanation.

If the building has higher minimum airflows by design (such as healthcare
or laboratory spaces) then the reheat energy calculated by the program may
be accurate.

Hello,

I’m modeling a VAV system and the building is using more energy for
zone-level reheat in the summer months than I would expect. Any thoughts
on what this could be from?
