I also support re-enabling FUNCTIONS in DOE-2.2, which I've found to be 
extremely useful and powerful for adding and testing new features 
missing in the standard release.  I've actually offered to do that for 
Jeff, but have not been able to block out a time to do that. Maybe 
sometime soon :-)
