[TRNSYS-users] How to connect an equation to a parameter of a component

Christina,
You can't change the value of a parameter during a simulation; the
definition of a parameter is a value that is constant over the entire
length of the simulation. You would need to change the Type itself and
modify both the source code and the proforma so that the heat transfer
coefficient becomes an input instead of a parameter. You would then have
to recompile the STEC library DLL with the modified source code in order
for the change to take effect.
Best,
  David
