[TRNSYS-users] Inability to open simulation result in excel

Ayoola,
   All of the files that TRNSYS generates during a simulation are text 
files with the exception of the temporary files that are generated by 
the online plot. What I would recommend that you do is run the 
simulation, then find the external file that you want to open using 
Windows explorer. Once you find the file, open Excel, then select "Open" 
from the "File" menu, then navigate to the place where you found the 
result file.
