[TRNSYS-users] Differential controller(Temperature controller)

Nipaporn,
If you want a heating controller (ie a controller that turns
equipment on when the room temperature falls below 26.5C and allows it
to stay on until room temperature reaches 27.5C) then set the first
input to the middle of your set point temperature range (27C). The
second input will be the temperature that you are monitoring (the room
temperature). The fifth input (upper dead band) would be set to 0.5C and
the sixth input (lower dead band) would be set to -0.5C.

If you want a cooling controller (ie a controller that turns
equipment on when the room temperature rises above 27.5C and allows it
to stay on until room temperature falls to 26.5C) then set the /second/
input to the middle of your set point temperature range (27C). The
/first /input will be the temperature that you are monitoring (the room
temperature). The fifth input (upper dead band) would be set to 0.5C and
the sixth input (lower dead band) would be set to -0.5C.

Kind regards,
  David
