Martin,
   Try right clicking in the project and selecting the "show layers" 
option from the context menu; it may be that the weather component 
(Type15) is on a hidden layer.

   With Trnsys17 connections between the weather component and the 
Type56 building are not always needed; they can be made automatically 
and internally. Since the building knows which direction the walls and 
roof face, it can query the weather component directly without you 
having to make connections. You can of course disable the automatic 
connection by opening TRNBuild, going to the main project window where 
the orientations are defined and switching off the internal calculation 
for one or more orientations.
