George,
   TRNSYS reads Meteonorm data files that have been saved in the *.tm2 
(Typical Meteorological Year version 2) file format. If you have file in 
*.tm2 format generated by Meteonorm then Type15-6 is the correct 
component to use to read it. If you are getting an error then please 
email your project and your weather file to your distributor.

PS in case you didn't find them, a number of Meteonorm-generated 
European weather files already saved in the *.tm2 format are available 
in the TRNSYS weather archive which can be downloaded from: 
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/user17-resources/index.html
