[TRNSYS-users] TRNsys basic simulation of a an instantaneous gaz heater

Anas,
There is no flow of liquid going through your heater. The inlet flow
rate is set to a constant value of 0.

I am unclear on why you are sending a heating rate to the Type940
heater model. Type940 is intended to compute how much energy is needed
in order to raise the temperature of a liquid flow from its inlet
temperature to a setpoint temperature. If you already know how much
energy your heater needs then there is no reason to use a heater model.
You could compare your known energy quantity with the results of Type940
or you could use a simple equation to compute the temperature of the
water leaving a heater based on your known energy quantities.
regards,
  David
