[TRNSYS-users] Problems in output of solar module

Avishek,
It appears that you have a somewhat older version of TRNSYS; in the
more recent releases the "more" button fields of Type94 are all
populated and give some information that would be quite helpful in this
case. I would highly recommend that you contact your distributor and get
access to the updated version. Once you do, you will need to right click
on the Type94 in your project and select "replace" from the context
menu, then browse to find the Type94a proforma.

Type94 (and Type194) are a little confusing in that they calculate
two power outputs; one is at a known load voltage and the other is at
the maximum power point. You have plotted and printed the array voltage
(note: not the power) at a voltage that is taken as an input to the
model. You load voltage is currently set to zero; thus the result you
are seeing. I would recommend that you look instead at Type94 output 5
(Power at maximum power point).

Don't forget to connect the other inputs to Type94. Your values of
ambient temperature, beam radiation, diffuse radiation and angle of
incidence of beam radiation are all constant and set to zero.
regards,
  David
