Hi everyone,
I am a TRNSYS17 user and trying to build a new component. I am using fortran g95 compiler as per the instructions available on the TRNSYS website. When I compiled fortran file I encountered an error: function, 'getsimulationtime' at (1) has no implicit type. I will appreciate if any one can help me to resolve the issue.

Thanks,
Dr Ramkishore Singh

  Dr Singh,
That tutorial was written quite some time ago for Trnsys16 and I think it may require some significant expertise with the g95 compiler in order to compile Types for Trnsys17 successfully with it. The error you are getting suggests that your g95 compile project cannot understand the definition of the "getSimulationTime" function that Types typically use to obtain the simulation time. The definition of the function is contained in one of the *.mod files that is created when the TRNDll.dll is compiled. However *.mod files are compiler specific; a *.mod file compiled by one compiler cannot be accessed by a different compiler.
 regards,
  David

Before a simulation runs, the Studio creates the TRNSYS input file, which is text based. It has the extension *.dck and will be located in the same directory as your *.tpf file. You can also select "Report" from the "File" menu in Studio and get a text file list of the connections between components in your project.
 regards,
  David

 Hello everyone,
I want to ask what is the easiest way to export trnsys simulation studio (tpf file) to xls file or txt file in order to have access to values and make some diagrams!
