[TRNSYS-users] Windows shading - total radiation on a window

Hi Renee,

currently, there is no other solution than running the simulation twice:

a) One time only the geometric shading

b) One time the geometric shading and the movable shading.
For the control movable shading the radiation on the windows of a) is used.

You are not the only one requesting this way of control. My college had the same problem.
Therefore, the next update will include another output including geometric external shading effects only.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Windows shading - total radiation on a window

Hi,

I asked this question before, but no solution yet.

Is there an output from Trnbuild for the real radiation on a window.
So with the influence of building overhang but without the influence of a mobile solarscreen?

I have building with a very large trapezium shaped overhang and below 6 windows.
During the day, the shading is different on each window.
Additionally there are mobile solar screens on each window.
They should close if there is more than 150W/m² on the window.

If you use the "automatic control" according to window type. There is no "correction" for the large overhang, or nearby buildings.
If you use output 103 en 104 the shading of the mobile solar screen is added each time the screen is down, so they go up on the first timestep, down on the next, and then up again..
Output 931 gives you the same as "automatic control"

How to control each mobile solar screen ? taking into account the large overhang?
