Glumac is revising its earlier job opportunity announcement. We are now
seeking a registered professional engineer with energy modeling and project
management experience, ready to help build our energy analysis business. We
will consider the resumes of those who responded to the earlier
announcement.
Glumac International is pleased to announce an opening in our energy
services department, based in Portland, Oregon. Glumac has 5 offices along
the west coast with Alliance partners in Texas, Canada and Australia. We are
a leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy consulting engineering
firm. The firm emphasizes sustainable design, and has many LEED buildings in
review, and was part of the team that designed and analyzed Viridian Place,
the first LEED certified building in the Northwest. The energy team does
analysis for new and existing buildings for commercial, industrial and
governement projects.
We are looking for a person who can manage projects, including client
relationships, and potentially outside subconsultants, while still doing
substantial energy modeling. We are looking for an experienced, registered
professional engineer with 5+ years of energy analysis and modeling
experience, and 1+ years of mechanical HVAC design. A minimum of 3 years
in a consulting engineering firm is required. Ability to use DOE2.2 with
eQuest in the detailed input mode, without supervision, is the primary
analysis requirement. Knowledge of other energy modeling tools is a plus,
particularly capability with natural ventilation analysis tools. Experience
with ASHRAE 90.1 and LEED energy modeling is a prerequisite. Experience
with energy codes for Oregon, Washington, and California is desirable.
Marketing experience is also desirable.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to relocate to one of the
top areas of the country for sustainable design, and provide leadership in
energy analysis in that market.
