Is anyone aware of or in possession of fan and pump load distribution curves
for variable flow applications as a product of building simulation modeling,
metering, or other? If so, I would welcome the information or direction to
it. Obviously much of this would be location and building
configuration-specific. Anecdotal data for specific sites/locations,
typical representative values, and statistical aggregations of a larger
sample all would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

Example of desired data:
                   Percentage of
%Flow Hours Per Year
------- ----------------
Off 30%
1-9% 0%
10-19% 0%
20-29% 0%
30-39% 20%
40-49% 15%
50-59% 11%
60-69% 10%
70-79% 7%
80-89% 4%
90-99% 2%
100% 1%
-------- --------------------
TOTAL 100%=8,760 hr/yr

Examples of applications of interest:
    - VAV supply, return, and exhaust fans
    - VAV dual duct supply, return, and exhaust fans
    - VSD chilled, hot water pumps with 2-way control valves
    - Single speed, two speed, and VSD cooling tower fans
    - Cooling tower pumps
    - VSD DHW pumps
    - Boiler FD fans
    - Kiln drying fans
    - Refrigeration evaporator fans

Opinions on the worth of such data? Of use for case studies, but beyond
that, do you think it always need to be metered or modeled for a specific
site to be useful?
