DOE-2 does a limited calc on ground coupled heat transfer. If you must use it see the Guidelines by Winklemann et al. 

Another problem is the ground temp, which is calc'd with Kusuda's algorithm's for most sites. This may or may not represent the temps at your site. You must also make sure to use CWFs in the model.

I want to simulate a building . Most of the building is underground. I am wonder if how to simulate building undergrounds. Can Equest do? If anyone who encountered such building, wohld you please share the experience with me ? Thank you in advance.
